Ludhiana: Ludhiana police arrested YouTuber Paras Singh (21) for alleged racial remarks against Congress MLA Ninong Ering in Arunachal Pradesh triggered an outrage. He alleged termed Congress MLA Ninong Ering a non-Indian in his video on Sunday and said Arunachal was a part of China.

He is a resident of Janakpuri in Ludhiana, has two YouTube channels. The channels contain content mostly focuses on gadgets and the online game PUBG, said police officer. His alleged remarks came after Pasighat East MLA wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, seeking a ban on the relaunch of PUBG Mobile.

According to the sources, Punjab Police will now give Paras Singh’s custody to their Arunachal police after which he will be brought to Itanagar on transit remand. Arunachal Pradesh registered a case and the cyber crime branch was investigating the matter.
