Melania visited Government school at Delhi: interacted with students

New Delhi: The First Lady of US Melania Trump visited the Delhi Government run Sarvodaya School at Moti Bagh on Tuesday. She was here to see how Delhi Government school ‘Happiness’ in their schools.

There she interacted with the students in the school. The students tossed questions to Melania, What is your name? What do you do? How far is America from here? The First Lady said to the students that, my name is Melania Trump. I am the First Lady of the United States. My favourite cartoon is Tom & Jerry. For the rest of questions she had was big smile as an answer. She spent over an hour in the school and interacted with the students from KG to class IV.

She witnessed the activities where kids were reading books, building blocks and busy colouring. She then visited a yoga session class. In the last she entered the much famed ‘happiness’ class room where she meditated with the children. I felt very relaxed, said Melania Trump after the meditation session. She said, “Namaste, it was an honour to join you today in the beautiful school. Thank you for welcoming me.  This is my first visit to India. People here are so welcoming and kind. President and I are greatfull for the warm reception”.

A healthy, positive example has been set for educators to ensure a promising future, ‘happiness’ curriculum must be implemented not only in American but across the world, she added.
