Munugode MLA Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy resigned Congress party

Hyderabad: Munugode MLA Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy announced his resignation to the Congress party and also the post of MLA on Tuesday. He will submit his resignation to the Speaker in person within two or three days, he said.

Speaking to the media persons he said that his resignation will help the people of Munugode constituency. He also said he has still not decided to join the BJP. He would declare his future course of action after consultations with his followers and key leaders in the constituency, he added.

Rajagopal Reddy said he had respect for Sonia Gandhi and hence would not criticize Congress party. He reiterated that the party suffered because of some wrong decisions. He claimed that his decision was for the sake of Munugode and its people as the TRS leaders have been saying that the constituency will see development only in the event of a bye election. I hope that the bye election will bring development and CM KCR will fulfill his promises, he said. My fight is against the family rule and for four crore people of Telangana, he said.
