Hyderabad: Army officer Colonel B Santosh Babu’s statue was unveiled by Telangana IT and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao on Tuesday in Suryapet town.

He died during the India-China face-off at Galwan Valley in Ladakh on June 15, 2020.

The Government installed the late Colonel’s statue in his hometown, as assurance given by the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao in 2020.

Col. Santosh Babu’s wife Santoshi, Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy and other leaders attended the programme.
