Donald Trump Extends Ban on Immigration March 31st, 2021

Washington: US President Donald Trump extended ban on a pair of immigration up to March 31st, 2021, to enter foreign workers into the country on Thursday. This immigration bans that block many “green card” applicants from entering the country, Trump also said this measures are needed to protect US workers on the pandemic which hitted the economy.

US President extended the ban until March 31st, 2021, the ban which was issued in April and June were set to expire on December 31st. A broad range of businesses oppose the ban on certain foreign workers. President-elect Joe Biden, who takes office on Jan. 20, has criticized the restrictions, but has not yet said whether he would immediately reverse them.

Trump issued the bans in the form of presidential proclamations that could be swiftly undone. At least 20 million people remain on unemployment benefits in the United States as the novel Covid-19 continues to spread nationwide.
