Hand over them to us… We will kill them on the road…

Hyderabad/ Shadnagar: Thousands of angry mob shouting the slogans infront of the Shadnagar police station on Saturday. The people all over the district gathered on the Shadnagar roads, on the buildings, in retaliation of the gang rape and murder of Veterinary Dr. Priyanka Reddy. The people expressed their solidarity to the slain Priyanka Reddy, and everyone feels her as a family member of their own, irrespective of caste and religion etc.

  This is the situation witnessed at the Shadnagar police station on Saturday, when the accused who had murdered Priyanka Reddy bought to the station to produce before the Court.

   The angry mob exchanged heated words with the police throughout the day and they dragged out the barricades and pushed the police, the angry mob thrown slippers on the police. The police lathi charged on the angry mob to disburse the mob. MRO Pandu Naik came to the police station and imposed 14 days imprisonment to the accused. With great difficulty, the police shifted the accused in a special convoy, with tight security to the Charlapally Central Jail at about 4.30 pm. The awaiting mob on the roads and infront of the police station thrown slippers and pelted stones on the convoy and they followed the convoy with running for some distance.

   The incident of gang rape and murder of Veterinary Dr. Priyanka Reddy is a sorrowful and painful incident. The students, public organizations and women organizations staged rallies and protest in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states. In Andhra Pradesh, Kurnool, Tirupati, Vijayawada and Vishakapatnam students organized big rallies and shouted slogans “We want Justice”, punish the culprits stringtly. The women took rallies at state capital Delhi and Kolkata, Bhopal and Ranchi with candle rallies on Saturday night. The veterinary students in Ranchi demanded the govt. to get stringent actions against those culprits. They are demanding the Government to kill them directly or hang them.

   The National Commission for Women Chairperson Shyamala visited Priyanka Reddy’s residence on Saturday and console her parents. She knows the facts with parents of Priyanka Reddy and she took a case as suemotto.

  Telangana Governor Tamizhi sai also visited Priyanka Reddy residence on Saturday and conveyed her condolences. She assured them she will help her family, they will approach her at any time in person or over phone.

  The police convoy with the culprits reached to the charlapally central jail, the angry gathered MOB quarrled with the police, not protect them. Hand over us, we will kill them. The police disburse the MOB by lathi charge and the accused put in a high range security barrels in the Jail. The Shamshabad DCP Prakash Reddy, who is investing the case took all precautionary measures and appeal the people at Shadnagar police station, please be patience. We will punish the culprits through fast track courts within a short period with a death penalty.
