New Delhi: The Indian Drug Controller, Country’s Drug Regulator has issued showcause notices to and cancelled all import licenses of companies sourcing Rapid Antibody Testing Kits from the two Chinese firms Guangzhou Wondfo Biotech and Zhuhai Livzon Diagnostics.

After the kits showed wide variations in their sensivity in the field. Drug Controller General Dr. V. G. Somani in his letter to State Drug Controllers said that it is to communicate for your information and necessary action that the import license holders of Covid- 19 Rapid Diagnostics Kits from sites Guangzhou Wondfo Biotech and Zhuhai Livzon Diagnostics, China have been asked to stop import of the said kits in public interest and showcause notices in light of information of ICMR.
