Goel, Arvind are the new Chiefs for RAW, IB

New Delhi: The appointments committee of the cabinet cleared the names of two senior IPS officers as Chief of country’s two premier intelligence agencies. The appointments committee of the cabinet headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a decision on Wednesday.

           IPS officer Samant Kumar Goel will be new secretary external intelligence agencies research and analysis wing (RAW). Another IPS officer Arvind Jain has been appointed as Director of the Intelligence bureau. These two officers are expected to take charge on July 1st, with fixed two year tenure.
