Indian Shuttlers Clinched Four Gold Medals on 06th December

Khatmandu/Pokhara: Indian athletes stood at the top by clinching 41 Medals, including 19 Gold on the fifth day, 13th South-Asian games here on Friday.

       India bagged another 18 Silver and four bronze to take the total tally to 165 medals (81 Gold, 59 Silver and 25 Bronze). Nepal stood at second place with 116 Medals including 41 Gold, 27 Silver and 48 Bronze. The Srilankan Athletes stood on third place with 134 medals i.e., 23 Gold, 42 Silver and 69 Bronze.

      On Friday, the Indian shuttlers won four gold and two silver, dominating all the nations. In the womens single final Ashmitha Chariha overcome a late surge from Indian Gayatri Gopi Chand to finish off with a 21-18, 25-23 win.
