“Maha Kissa Kursi Ka”: BJP V/s Siva Sena

Mumbai: The Political Parties in Maharashtra are not won the seats to form a government in the state, which was results declared on 24th of October 2019. The main contestors from NDA, BJP and Siva Sena ally got 161 seats in the elections. The UPA ally NCP and Congress got 98 seats and the remaining are independents and others.

         Though no party have majority to form a government, a magic figure of 145 MLA’s in the 288 seated assembly. The BJP won 105 seats and stands as the single largest party in the assembly. Its ally Siva Sena won 56 seats and stood the second largest party in the assembly. Later NCP won 154 seats and turned into third largest party and congress only 44 and stood in the fourth position.

          As per the pre-alliance promises the Siva Sena demanding 50% of share in the cabinet and as well as the Chief Minister’s post. The BJP unanimously reelected Fadnavis as the BJLP leader recently. Fadnavis clarified that the BJP and Siva Sena ally form the govt, in the state, but the Chief Minister’s post will not be shared it will be with the BJP.

        Siva Sena firmly stands on the sharing of Chief Minister’s post. If BJP not offered the sharing of Chief Minister’s post Siva Sena will not support to them. Spoke persons of Siva Sena and its MP Raote categorically said that they will form the government independently with the support of other parties. Siva Sena leaders had talks with the NCP leaders.

       The BJP disclosed that Devender Fadnavis will swearn in as CM on Novermber 5th or 06th. Many independents extended their support to the BJP.
