Miss World Crown to Jamaican Tuni-Ann, Miss India Suman Rao is Second Runners – up

London: Jamaica woman Tuni-Ann Singh has bagged the Miss World 2019 crown at an annual beauty contest held here on Saturday. Indian woman Suman Rao becomes second runners – up.

      Jamaican Tuni-Ann Singh (23) was declared the winner at televised event, hosted by Piers Morgan hosted by British Television at ExceL London here on Saturday. She was born Indo-Caribbean father Brad Sha Singh and African Caribbean Mother Jahrine Beley.

      She is the student of woman’s studies and psychology at Florida state university and she aspires to be a medical doctor. She was crowned by last year’s winner Vanessa Ponce D Leon of Mexico. Tuni-Ann Singh celebrated her win on Instagram, expressing gratitude to her country’s Jamaican for believing in her.

       She is the fourth Jamaican to win the Coveted Pageant. The country has previously won Miss World titles in 1963, 1976 and 1993. She was closely followed by France’s Ophely Mezino, was adjudged the first runners – up, while India’s Suman Rao was declared as second runners -up.

        The second runners up Suman Rao (20), is a Chartered Accountants student hailing from Rajasthan, was crowned Miss India World 2019 in June.
