Patankote Court Imposed conviction Three For Life… Three for Five Years Imprisonment

Patankote sessions court imposed life imprisonment for three accused and five years imprisonment for three accused on Monday in Khatuva gang rape case. The National Women Commission Chair Person Rekha Sharma urged the Jammu and Kashmir government to appeal in the High Court for death penalty to the all accused persons in the case.

Patankote: Patankote sessions court imposed life imprisonment for three accused and five years imprisonment for three accused on Monday in Khatuva gang rape case. Patankote sessions court Judge Tejvinder Singh confined these accused persons as the guilty persons under RPC (Ranbeer Peanel Code).

       The Patankote court acquitted vishal, the son of prime accused Sanjee Ram for not having sufficient evidence to prove him as a accused. The Patankote Session Judge Tejvinder Singh prounced his judgment of Monday.

        At the time of delivering judgement, court not allowed the media inside the court. The Patankote session court judge imposed life imprisonment (until to death) to the temple priest Sanjee Ram, Special Police Officer Deepak Khajuria and Pravesh Kumar. The court in its judgement said that these three accused committed rape assassin and conspiracy, and tried to destroy the witnesses in the case.

           The court also imposed five years imprisonment another SPO Surendra Verma, SI Anand Bhatta, Head Constable Tilak Raaj for destroying the evidences in the case and also imposed fine Rs.50,000/-, if they failed to pay the fine they will be under go six months imprisonment in addition to the five years.

        The Former Chief Ministers of Jammu and Kashmir Omer Abdullah, Mehabubba Mufti expressed happiness on the courts verdict against the accused. The Former Chief Minister Omer Abdullah in his speech said that there is no words to say about the political leaders who supported the accused persons. He also urged the court to punish the accused stringently as per the laws.

       Jammu and Kashmir Former Chief Minister Mehabubba Mufti in her tweet urged that to impose the rigorous punishment to the accused in the case. The National Women Commission Chair Person Rekha Sharma urged the Jammu and Kashmir government to appeal in the High Court for death penalty to the all accused persons in the case.
