Power Tussle between BJP and Siva Sena

Mumbai: BJP and Siva Sena parties in Maharashtra want to share power 50:50. The Siva Sena delegation led by Diwakar Raote met Governor Bhagath Singh Koshyari on Monday morning. BJP Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will met governor in the afternoon separately.

           Siva Sena delegations said that they met governor to convey the Diwali wishes. Siva Sena is trying to Bargain more power share in the government, if they allied with the BJP coalition. BJP won 105 seats and Siva Sena won 56 seats in the concluding elections 2019. These two parties go for polls with pre-poll alliance. These two parties got 161 seats in the 288 members Maharashtra assembly. The magic figure to form a government in the assembly is 145.
