Siva Sena, NCP and Congress will form coalition Government in Maharashtra
Mumbai: The Maharashtra political tussle came to an end on Friday, the three parties Siva Sena, NCP and Congress came to an understanding to form a coalition Government in the state. The three party leaders are going to meet the state Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari on Saturday and to express their ability and willingness to form the coalition Government in the state with majority.
According to the reliable sources, three party leaders Uddhav Thackeray, Sharad Pawar and Congress Chief Sonia Gandhi came to an understanding to share the power in the newly form Government. NCP Chief Sharad Pawar told to the media persons that the three parties are going to take a common minimum program agenda in the Government.

As per the sources, the Siva Sena will get Chief Ministers post for five years and the NCP, Congress will get Deputy Chief Ministers post. The Siva Sena, NCP will get each 14 Ministers berth in the cabinet and the Congress will get 12 Ministerial berths. Besides this Congress and NCP will get the Speaker and Chairman posts of Legislative Council and Assembly.
The NCP Chief Sharad Pawar will meet Congress Chief Sonia Gandhi on 17th at New Delhi to discuss the common minimum agenda. Later they give their consent letters to the Governor and request to form the Government. In the Maharashtra State Assembly Siva Sena got 56 seats, NCP 54 and Congress 44 seats. Total together 154 seats out of 288 seats in the Assembly. The magic figure to form the Government is 145 seats.
