Task Force Seized Four Slow Lorises

Hyderabad: Hyderabad South zone task force rescued four slow lorises and an Indian Star Tortoise on Sunday. As per the official sources the police seized the lorises and tortoise from pharmacists’ residence of Barkas.

       The pharmacists Saehin Mohammed Badim (55) and his brother Alibin Mohammed Badim (38) are residence of Barkas and them running a pharmacy at chandrayan gutta. Ali Bin Mohammed bought animals and the tortoises and put them for sale on the reliable information the task force police was on the lookout on the pharmacists.

        The police seized the slow lorises, a nocturnal animal in the city first time. These animals are generally found in the north east, Bangladesh, Indonesia and Phillipines. The police handed over the animals and reptiles to the forest department for protection and care.
