New Delhi/Unnao: The death of Unnao gang rape victim’s family members demanding that the perpetrators be chased and killed, like in the Hyderabad incident. The political parties and voluntary organizations staged protests on Saturday at New Delhi, Lucknow and Unnao.

        Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Aditya Nath assured the Unnao victim’s family of speedy justice, saying a fast track court would decide the case. He later announced an exgratia of Rs. 25,00,000/- to the family.

        The Unnao gang rape victim was died on Friday’s night, in a hospital at New Delhi with cardiac arrest, where she was undergoing treatment of 90% burnt injuries. She gave a statement to the magistrate, who set fire on her and she requested to punish the culprits.

        The body of the victim was taken to her village in Uttar Pradesh’s Unnao dist by road on Saturday. All the five accused Hari Shankar Trivedi, Ram Kishore Trivedi, Umesh Bajpayee, Shivam and Shubham Trivedi involved in the attack of Unnao rape case were arrested hours after the incident.

        The prime accused identified as Shubham Trivedi. The opposition parties launched a massive attack on the UP govt. for its failure to curb crimes against women and protecting rape victims. Accused the Yogi Government Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra visited the Unnao victim’s house on Saturday and questioned why the victim had not been given security keeping mind a similar incident in the same dist.

         The Former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Akhilesh Yadav staged a protest sitting the outside of UP Vidhan Sabha, demanding the justice to the victim of Unnao’s gang rape case. He alleged that the law and order situation is worse in the state, the govt is giving protection to the culprits. He demanded the resignation of Chief Minister Yogi Aditya Nath.

       Another Former Chief Minister, BSP Supremo Mayavathi also demanded the government to make justice to the victim’s family by arresting the culprits. The AICC former chief Rahul Gandhi alleging that the Law and Order situation in UP had collapsed completely. He said that India is now known as the Rape Capital.
