Chennai: Tamil Nadu Former Chief Minister Late J. Jaya Lalitha’s close aide VK. Sashikala will enter in Tamil Nadu on Monday, after four years. The expelled AIADMK secretary General Sashikala’s entry into the state creating political expectations before the Assembly General Elections.

Jaya Lalitha’s aide VK. Sashikala was released from Paraparan Agrahara Prison on January 27^th and quarantine at Bengaluru till today. She has served four years in the Paraparan Agrahara Prison in the disproportionate of assets case from 2017 to 27^th January 2021. After the completion of her imprisonment she is returning to Chennai tomorrow.

Ahead of Tamil Nadu Assembly elections Sashikala’s entry is a biggest speculation in the Tamil politics. She was very influential in Tamil Nadu politics since 1989. She was a very close aide to former Chief Minister J. Jaya Lalitha since three decades. She was called in the party as Chinnamma.

After the Jaya Lalitha’s death, she wants become the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu in 2017 January. The AIADMK legislators and the leaders and the cadre are in her grip after demise of Jaya Lalitha. She took the resignation of O. Paneer Selvam as Chief Minister. She kept 127 MLAs in a resort in Tamil Nadu and passed a resolution unanimously, she is the Chief Minister’s Candidate.

The Supreme Court Judgement in disproportionate assets case curtailed the ambition of VK Sashikala to become the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu and she went Paraparan Agrahara Prison. At that time she made EK. Palani Swamy as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu before she leaves to Bengaluru. Later, the AIADMK political developments, both EPS and OPS came to one fold with the blessings of the Central government in 2017.

They expelled VK. Sashikala from the party and removed her as the party’s Secretary General. Now Sashikala is a prominent politician in the Tamil Nadu politics. She is having access with the AIADMK leaders and cadre in a large scale. Her nephew TTD Dinakaran, who is Jaya Nagar’s MLA formed a political party in the name of “Amma Makkal Katchi”.

Sashikala is the president of that “Amma Makkal Katchi” party. Sashikala’s entry is a big setback in Tamil political parties DMK and AIADMK.
