Police register 18 FIRs, 106 people arrested

New Delhi: The Delhi police have arrested 106 people for their alleged involvement in the North East Delhi violence and registered 18 FIRs on Wednesday. According to the police sources no unto word incident was reported on Wednesday and PCR calls from North East Delhi have reduced.

Police also released two helpline numbers- 011- 22829334, 22829335- for people to reach out during distress. The NSA Ajit Doval on Wednesday visited the violence hit North East Delhi areas on Wednesday. This is the second visit of NSA in less than 24 hours. Doval visited Maujpur, Jaffarabad and some other affected areas after holding a meeting with the senior officials of the Delhi police at the office of DCP North East.

He also said to the reporters that he was there as per the instructions of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Shah. If God wills there will be peace and harmony here, said Doval.
