
Provide marketing facilities to farmers: Jagan
Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy directed the officials to conduct the comprehensive door to door survey for third time in the state to identify the Covid- 19 patients.
Chief Secretary Neelam Sawhney, DGP Gautam Sawang, Agriculture Minister K. Kanna Babu, Medical & Health Chief Secretary K.S. Jawahar Reddy attended the meeting.
He reviewed on Covid- 19 cases and on the arranging of marketing facilities to the farmers for the Rabi crops yielding. He instructed the officials to provide transport facilities to the farmers who want to sell their produces outside of the state. And also provide procurement centres to purchase the agriculture producers locally from the farmers. He also cautioned the officials to take measures for providing MSP to the farmers under the scheme of price standardization.
He instructed the officials to provide marketing yards locally available to the farmers to purchase the chilly and other products. He also asked the officials to pool up Lorries and trucks to transport the agriculture products to the market yards and as well as to the other states.
He instructed the officials to conduct the third time survey door to door, including the previous two time survey people also. He said the Volunteers and Health Workers must record the details of the all members in a house. The Health Workers also consider the people who are suffering with cough, cold and fever without relating to the Covid- 19.
In Andhra Pradesh the Covid- 19 cases rose to 363 on Thursday, with a 15 new cases.
