Vijayawada: Senior IAS office G Sai Prasad has been appointed as new Chief Secretary of Andhra Pradesh on Saturday. He will assume office on March 1^st, 2026 in place of present CS K Vijayanand.

He will retire as CS on March 28^th, 2026, the Government extended three months as CS after his retirement. The GAD political Principal Secretary S Suresh issued a GO No. 2230 on the appointment of new CS.
