
TDP MLCs Man Handle on Minister Vellampalli in the Council
Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council adjourned sine not approved the appropriation bill on Wednesday along with some other bills. The opposition members in the legislative council are alleging that the chairman and deputy chairman were not following the rules and regulations of the council.
The chairman and deputy chairman of the legislative council are acted as the directions of the TDP members in the floor on taking the proceedings. The TDP members and YSRCP members and ministers clashed on the appropriation bill. The TDP members behaved as unruly manner in the council, by pushing and kick off the ministers and other members.
The TDP members B. Ravichandra and M. Satyanarayana Raju were moved angrily against the minister Vellampalli Srinivas, who is arguing with the chair. The TDP member B. Ravi Chandra kicked off with leg on the minister and another TDP MLC M. Satyanarayana Raju picked up the neck of the minister Vellampalli. The other ministers Kannababu and others came to the rescue of the minister. The ministers Kannababu and Vellampalli Srinivas objected the TDP member Lokesh on picturising the floor proceedings in the house. It also one of the cause to the clashes.
The clash began in the council due to the hidden agenda of TDP MLC Yenamala Rama Krishnudu to stall the bills in the session. He suggested the chairman to take up the appropriation bill first and allow the bills regarding CRDA and the de-centralization of administration etc. The finance minister Buggana Rajendra Nath Reddy said that it is against the conventions of the house, in the budget session appropriation bill is the last item in the agenda so that you have follow the convention of the house.
The deputy chairman Reddy Subramanyam rejected the suggestion of the finance minister and argue with him, and said yes we have to make a new convention. What is wrong he questioned. This caused the clashes in the floor. The TDP MLC Yenamala Rama Krishnudu gave a notice of Sec 90 to discuss on the bills is not correct said the YCP chief whip in the council U. Venkateshwarulu said it is against the rules of the council.
Sec 90 notice must give one day prior to the chairman. But the council chairman Shariff admitted the Yenamala’s Sec 90 notice and he left the seat, later the deputy chairman Reddy Subramanyam continued the proceedings of the house.
