Hyderabad: Six people died in an accident when the SUV vehicle they were travelling lost control on the SUV and fell into Nagarjuna Sagar left canal on Friday near Chakirala in Suryapet district.

   The six victims belong to Hyderabad city and working in a private hospital. They went to attend the wedding of one of their friends and while returning to the city the driver lost the control over SUV vehicle in which they are travelling. The police of Nadigudem said that they are facing difficulties in carrying out rescue operations due to bad light and a heavy flow in the canal. District Collector D. Amoy Kumar along with officials reached the spot to carry out the rescue operations.

    The six victims who died in mishap are Abdul (45), Rajesh (29), Johnson (33), Santosh Kumar (23), Naresh (35) and Pavan Kumar (23) are the resident of Secunderabad.
