Taxi drivers indefinite strike from October 19th

Hyderabad: The Telangana State Taxi and Drivers JAC issued a statement on Wednesday that it would on indefinite strike from October 19th. The organization said the demands had presented to Government, Ola, Uber and IT companies.

    As many as 50, 000 taxi drivers working for Uber, Ola and for IT companies in the city, said the Chairman of this organization Shaik Salauddin. The drivers demand includes higher minimum (Rs. 22) a cap on number of cabs attached to aggregator. And he also demanded to establish a welfare and administration board for their organization. The organization also wants KYC approvals of customers to tackle assaults on drivers.
