TSRTC JAC Talks Failed with Govt: Ashvathama Reddy

Hyderabad: TSRTC JAC leaders and workers continuing their strike on 23rd day on Sunday. The JAC leaders and workers took agitations at the bus depots.

        The talks between the government and JAC leaders on Sunday failed due to the misunderstanding of the parties. The JAC leaders alleged that the committee comprising the MD Sunil Sharma and CM’s Secretary Sandeep Sultania and among others was not looking for solutions. The JAC leaders also alleged that the officer was nearly buying time to satisfy the High Court, which had instructed it to initiate talks.

       The JAC leaders said that the committee puts only 21 demands on the table to discuss, they demanded 26 demands of all during the two hour meeting. The dis-satisfied JAC leaders walked out from the meeting in the middle. The management allowed only four JAC leaders said Ashvathama Reddy and alleged that the government had no intention to resolve the issue.        The JAC is planning a “Chalo Collectorate” on Monday and a large-scale public meeting for RTC employees, political leaders and the general public in Saroornagar on October 30. In several depots, RTC employees and their families sat on hunger strike on Saturday. On Diwali, teacher A. Narsi Reddy, an MLC, will sit on hunger strike from 9 am at Dharna Chowk near Indira Park as well, demonstrating the support of the teachers unions.
