TSRTC women employees played Bathukamma at Dilsukhnagar bus depot

Hyderabad: The women employees of TRSTC said that the women conductors have been facing a lot of problems in the transport industry and instead of sorting out the problems the Government has sacked them. The women conductors expressed their solidarity for the ongoing strike.

     The women and transgender organization JAC had organized a round table conference with the women conductors about their work conditions and challenges. A former women conductor Ramula of TSRTC said that “we have not been paid our wages for the last two months and now we have all been terminated from service for expressing our dissent”.

     K. Sajaya, a social activist said that “we made a few resolutions and we need the Government to act upon them. First of all the dues that are pending must be paid. Also there must be an exgratia payment to the families of the deceased RTC workers”.
