Trump, Modi discuss religious freedom

New Delhi: India has worked very hard to have great and open religious freedom that is what Modi wants said Donald Trump. After the detailed talks of bi-lateral ties with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Hyderabad house New Delhi on Tuesday, Trump declined to discuss the controversy over India’s CAA and the violence rocking parts of Delhi.

Addressing Indian and American media at the US embassy in the evening Trump said, I don’t want to discuss that CAA. I want to have that to India, and hopefully they are going to make the right decision for the people. In a joint statement issued on Tuesday evening, which vindicated New Delhi’s concerns about the cross border terrorism from Pakistan, Modi and Trump also called on Pakistan to ensure that no territory under its control is used to launch terrorist attacks and to expetiously bring to justice the perpetrators of such attacks, including 26/11 Mumbai and Pathankot.

The two countries were expanded our defense co-operation with agreements for India to purchase more than $ three billion of advanced American military equipment, including Apache, MH-60 Romeo Helicopters and the finest in the world, said Donald Trump, his earlier remarks at Hyderabad House. Both sides also decided to begin negotiation for a big trade agreement.
