Yes Bank moratorium may be lifted this week: Prasanth Kumar
Mumbai: Yes Bank administrator Prasanth Kumar said on Monday he is hopeful of the moratorium on the lender being lifted by Saturday. Merging Yes Bank with itself will have negative impact on SBI, and an independently running institution should continue to do so after some help said the former Chief Financial Officer of SBI, Yes Bank administrator Prasanth Kumar, dismissing speculation of an amalgamation.
Speaking to the media Mr. Kumar said we are hopeful that we will be able to work around, where the moratorium will be lifted by this weekend. He making it clear that moratorium lifts off and capital raising plans are unconnected. The trigger will be approval of final plan by RBI, he said. Adding that work on fund raising is on parallel.
