Police file a case against Akbaruddin Owaisi

Hyderabad: The 16th Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court of Hyderabad directed the Saidabad police to register a case against Chandrayangutta MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi on Thursday.  K. Karunasagar, an advocate from city filed a petition against Akbaruddin Owaisi on August 1st.

    The Court directed Saidabad police to register a case against Chandrayangutta MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi for alleged hate speech on July 23rd during a public meeting “Jalsa-e-Yaade Fakhre-Millat” at N.N. Garden function hall in Karimnagar. K. Karunasagar alleged that he lodged a complaint against Akbaruddin Owaisi in Saidabad police on July 26, but the police failed to register a case for investigation.

   K. Karunasagar alleged that Akbaruddin Owaisi deliberately made a speech to promote enmity between religions.
