Devendra Fadnavis sworn-in-as Chief Minister of Maharashtra

Mumbai: Devendra Fadnavis (BJP) sworn-in-as Chief Minister of Maharashtra and NCP leader Ajit Pawar took oath as Deputy Chief Minister in Raj Bhavan on Saturday morning. There are unexpected turn of events happened as BJP form Government in Maharashtra.

    Speaking to the media persons Chief Minister Fadnavis said that “The state is suffering from farmer problems. The instability in the state is not good for the development of the state. It was important to form the Government. Ajit dada came with us and we approached the Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari and claimed to form Government. The President’s rule was removed and we decided to take oath today itself”.

   NCP leader and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar said that “It was not good for the state. So I decided to support the BJP Government”. Ajit Pawar was not accompanied by any of the NCP leaders and being the leader of NCP legislature party said that the state needed a stable Government and the formation of three parties Government was taking time. Ajit Pawar had the signatures of all party MLAs on a support letter.
