Hyderabad: The seven member team of NHRC visited the encounter spot on Saturday, at Chatanpally, where the accused killed in an encounter at the time of case re-construction of “Disha’s” rape and murder incident on December 06^th. The NHRC investigating team also investigating the case on Sunday also. The team may visit the police injured in exchange of fire with the accused at the hospital, the team will meet Disha’s parents also.

        The NHRC took suemotto cognizance of the incident and issued notices to the Telangana police. The NHRC decided to visit the mortuary and inspect the crime scenes where Disha was killed, set fire on the alleged encounter took place.

        The NHRC investigative committee arrived Hyderabad on Saturday, and proceeds to Mahabub Nagar govt. hospital. There they inspected the bodies of the deceased in the mortuary and enquired postmortem details with the doctors and forensic experts.

         The investigative team was led by senior superinentendent of police Manzil Saini and included a forensic expert. After the visiting of govt hospital, Shamshabad DCP N. Prakash Reddy accompanied the team to the outskirts of Chatanpally village in Shadnagar Mandal to examine the crime scene.     

The committee walked from one crime scene to the other and collected the details. The committee questioned the police officials on the sequence of incidents that led to the exchange of fire on Friday morning.
