Hyderabad: Telangana State Civil Liberties Committee filed a PIL at the High Court, urging a CBI investigation into the encounter deaths of the accused of raping and killing of Disha. The Civil Liberties Committee projecting Cyberabad Police Commissioner V.C. Sajjanar as a perpetrator of encounter deaths in the state.

    The CLC alleging that Sajjanar resorted to fake encounters to eliminate the accused, and terming it as against the rule established by the law. The Telangana State CLC President G. Laxman said that the recent encounter created that an emergency for a law to regulate the safety of accused or prisoners under Judicial custody to prevent similar fake encounters in the guise of retaliation by the accused. They also said in the PIL constituting a special investigation team in the same department has no use to the accused.
