Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu cheated the people of AP, not implementing the poll promises of super six: YS Jagan
Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu cheated the people of AP, not implementing the poll promises of super six, super seven and other 143 assurances, said former AP Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. He urged the people to stall the TDP and its alliance leaders by showing their election manifesto along with electoral bonds given to voters, when they visit their houses.
He questioned the repressive methods being adopted by the NDA government, citing his visit to Sattenapalli on Wednesday under curfew-like conditions. What is wrong if the Opposition leader visits to console a family, and people are coming in large numbers as they are vexed with the government, and are looking towards the YSRCP? he asked. YSRCP leaders and those close to him are being jailed based on fabricated cases built on false confessions, he said.
YS Jagan at a press conference on Thursday at YSRCP Central office at Tadepalli said that Chandrababu created a history in borrowing loans of Rs. 1,63,000/- crores in one year, without implementing any welfare schemes. He also said that the TDP led NDA Government is terrorizing the people who questioned about the manifesto or their poll promises by lodging fake and illegal cases.
The TDP and its coalition party leaders and activists are looting the natural resources like sand, mines etc. They used the police as a shield to their ugly activities. The law and order situation in the State is so worsened in one year of his Government 188 rapes and nearly 680 atrocities on women occurred in the State, he said.
YS Jagan criticized that Chandrababu is scared due to his failure in governance, and that his impatience is being manifested in diversion politics, and foisting false cases against political opponents. Overwhelming response to his recent tours was a standing testimony to the huge anti-incumbency that has set in within one year of the TDP-led NDA Government, he added.
The Betrayal Day observed on June 4 received an overwhelming response from the public, showing that anti-incumbency has set in very fast, as none of the NDA Super Six promises have been implemented.
YS Jagan said that Chandrababu’s modus operandi is to catch a small person like a gunman or a PA, use coercion methods to seek confession, and file cases against popular YSRCP leaders who support me, unmindful of the fact that people can see through his game,.
Atrocities on women and young girls are growing, and no complaint is being received, nor is any investigation taken up. Only after the Kuppam incident was trolled on social media, Naidu reacted. Farmers are in distress, and not getting MSP for any crop, he alleged.
