Hyderabad: ACB arrested Keshampet Tahsildar V. Lavanya on Thursday. ACB arrested her in a bribery case. ACB seized 11 passbooks of farmers from her official vehicle, who are able to pay the bribe amount that she demanded.

     Besides this, 45 applications of farmers requesting that land details be uploaded online were found inside her official vehicle. It is suspected that V. Lavanya held back these applications as well. The ACB seized Rs. 93.5 lakh in unaccounted cash and 400 grams of gold from the residence of V. Lavanya on Wednesday. V. Lavanya has been awarded Best Tahsildar in 2017.
