Ahmedabad: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) won the TATA Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 season on Sunday by defeating Gujarat Titans (GT) at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

IPL -2026 final match held between RCB and GT at Narendra Modi Stadium. RCB defeated GT by 5 five wickets in the IPL final match. RCB won the toss and choose to field first.

GT scored 155-8 in 20 overs, top scorer Washington Sunder 50 runs in 37 balls (5×4) and RCB bowlers restricted 155-8 with the best by Bhuvneshwar Kumar 4 overs 29 runs and 2 wickets and Rasikh Salam 4 overs 27 runs and 3 wickets in the final. In reply RCB scored 161 -5 in 18 overs with top scorer by Virat Kohli 75 runs in 42 balls (9×4, 3×6).

With this win, RCB joins Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians in winning two consecutive IPL titles. As captain, Rajat Patidar has also made history by winning two consecutive titles. CSK won consecutive titles in 2010 and 2011, while Mumbai Indians won in 2019 and 2020.
