YSRCP State official spokesperson Karumuru Venkat Reddy was released on bail night by First Class Magistrate in Tadipatri Court
Tadipatri: YSRCP State official spokesperson Karumuru Venkat Reddy was released on bail on Tuesday night by First Class Magistrate in Tadipatri Court.
According to the sources, the Tadipatri police arrested Venkat Reddy on Tuesday morning between 7 to 8 am at his residence in Kukatpally gated community in Hyderabad. The police came in mufti and taken Venkat Reddy in a private vehicle to Guntakal in Anantapur district.
The police arrested him in connection of a social media posting on TTD ASVO Satish Kumar’s murder case. The police did not have any notice at the time of arrest. They seized phones of him and his wife at his residence and warned not to inform to anybody. Finally they handed over Venkat Reddy’s wife phone and left the Venkat Reddy’s house with him.
Tadipatri police took him to Guntakal DSP office in the evening. The DSP interrogated him for nearly four hours and produced him before first class Magistrate, Tadipatri at around midnight. The Magistrate found police faults in the procedure lapses in the arrest of Venkat Reddy. He denied the police remand report and granted bail and released him. He was arrested on the basis of a complaint filed by the TDP leader a follower of JC Prabhakar Reddy.
