
Jagan performs poojas to Goddess Raja Shyamala
Vishakhapatnam: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy offered special poojas to the Goddess of Sri Raja Shyamala on Monday. He participated in the annual celebrations of Sri Sharada Peetham in Chinna Mushidivada in Vishakhapatnam.
The Sharada Peetham Trustees welcomed the CM with Poorna Kumbham into the Peetham. He entered the Peetham at 11.25 am and he participated in the poojas with the Pontiffs of the Peetham Sri Swaroopanandendra Swamy and Swathmaanendra Swamy. He performed poojas to Goddess Sri Raja Shyamala and the Cow in the Peetham. He also participated in the Goddess Sri Raja Shyamala Yagam and Maha Poornahuti in the Peetham. He inaugurated Swayam Jyothi Mandapam.
The Pontiff gave a book “Tatwamasi” to Jagan Mohan Reddy, written by Swaroopanandendra Swamy. He also felicitated T. Vishwanatha Poundareeka Yajulu with Swarna Kakanam (Golden Bangle).
The Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan also performed special poojas to Goddess Raja Shyamala.
