Delhi Burns: 14 Died, 150 Injured

New Delhi: The pro, anti-CAA, NPR protestor’s clashes in North-Eastern Delhi since three days turned into violent, 14 people died, nearly 100 above are seriously injured.

The Delhi administration on Tuesday issued orders of ‘shoot at site’ in the violent prevailed areas in North-East Delhi. The government also appointed S S Srivatsava, a senior IPS officer as special commissioner for Delhi, to monitor the Delhi clashes.

The pro, anti-CAA group’s riots are continuing since three days in Delhi. The protestors pelting stones on each other, set fire on vehicles, vandalizing the buildings and others are burnt in the clashes. According to the Delhi police sources shoot at site orders have been issued to deal firmly with those indulging in rioting.

The police imposed Sec 144 of the CRPC in the tension prevailed area by clashes. The death toll on Tuesday mounted to 14 and more than 150 were injured. Some reports said that about 70 people have received bullet injuries. The journalists who were trying to report the incidents and film the violence were also targeted. Union Home Minister Amit Shah convened a high level meeting and met representatives of all the political parties.
