Hyderabad: Police, TDP goons collude, coerced in ZPTC and MPTC polling to create fear in voters: YSRCP polling agents and leaders are arrested. Polling agents’ arrests, contesting candidates’ house arrests, opposition leaders house arrests, voters are not permitted to cast their votes.

The police and TDP goons and rowdies are travelling in the mode of hand – in – glove to stop the YSRCP leaders, cadre and agents and the voters not to participate in the ZPTC and MPTC polling today.

The polling started at 7 am on Thursday. Instead of the AP SEC instructions the police and the polling authorities are suppressing the YSRCP candidates, polling agents and as well as voters. The police are arresting the YSRCP polling agents, leaders in Lingala, Vemula, Simhadripuram, Vempally, Pulivendula mandals. In Annamayya districts Sambepally, Punganuru, Rayachoti and other mandals. In Tirupati district Puthalapattu mandal and in Palanadu districts Gurajala and other mandals also.

Local body elections, ZPTC and MPTC election process in AP is conducting in a collusion and coercion. The TDP led NDA coalition Government conducting farce elections in AP in 2026 with a new strategy to lock the opponents not to participate in the local body elections.

The TDP led NDA coalition parties colluded with the police, AP SEC, ROs in conducting local body elections. Colluded all these institutions coerced the main opposition leaders, contesting candidates, polling booth YSRCP agents and the voters.

The police is playing a key role in implementing malpractices by TDP led NDA coalition parties in the local body elections. Police make house arrests of the YSRCP main leaders and they also not allowed the contesting opposition candidates to file their nomination papers with ROs. Police not permitted the YSRCP polling agents and the voters into the polling booths.

But the police allowed TDP leaders, goons and rowdies into the polling booths against the election code. The TDP goons captured the polling booths and rigged the votes in favour of them by terrorizing the YSRCP polling agents and voters.
