
President Ram Nath Kovind and Modi paid tributes to the soldiers killed in Kargil
New Delhi: President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid great tributes to the Indian Army Soldiers on Friday, who were dedicated their lives to the Country in the Kargil battle.
President Ram Nath Kovind paid tributes to the soldiers at Badamibagh Contonment Army Memorial place at head quarters of Army 15 Corps in Kashmir. First Ram Nath Kovind wants to pay tributes to the soldiers at the War Memorial at Drass Sector, along with the Chiefs of Army, Navy and Air Forces. Due to the bad weather he was unable to go Drass.
Army Chief General Bipin Rawath, Navy Chief Admiral Karam Veer Singh, Air Force Chief B.S. Dhanova Drass paid tributes to the soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the sake of country at War Memorial at Kargil. Air Force Chief Dhanova is the 17th Squadron Commanding officer at the time of Kargil War.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that “I pray from my heart for all heroic sons of Mother India on Kargil Vijay Divas”. This day reminds us of the courage, bravery and the dedication of our soldiers.
