
Trump Extended Social Distance Till 30th April
Washington: The peak death rate in the US from the Covid-19 pandemic was likely to hit in two weeks, said Donald Trump. During a briefing at the White house on Sunday, Trump said that he was extending the government’s “social distancing” guidelines until April 30.
“The modeling estimates that the peak in death rate is likely to hit in two weeks,” the president said. To slow the speed of Covid-19 pandemic, we will be extending our guidelines to April 30th, he said. He also said that he expects the country will be well on our way to recovery by June 1st, dropping his previous target of Easter.
