Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy directed the officials to procure 16 cr masks immediately to prevent the Covid-19 in the state. After reviewing with the chief secretary, DGP, Medical and Health Chief Secretary on Sunday at his residence, he directed the officials to supply the masks three for each person on free of cost.

He also directed that to conduct test to the people as per the third survey of door to door enumeration. The volunteers, health workers completed the third round 1.43 cr household survey. He also told to the officers to take all precautionary measures to contain the Covid-19 as well as the supply of essential goods and the medicines. The AP government on Sunday banned the publicly spitting on the streets and also banned the spit off the persons who consumed the tobacco products, Khini, Gutka etc. he also directed the health department officials to take care the patients BP, Sugar etc.

The Covid-19 cases reached on Sunday 420 in the state. The Kurnool district is the highest with 84, Guntur district with 82 and Nellore in the third stage with 71. Krishna District 51, Prakasham District 41, Kadapa District 31, Vishaka 20 and Chittor 20 cases recorded.
