New Delhi: Gandhi’s soul would have been sad what’s been happening in India in last few years, said Sonia Gandhi. Sonia Gandhi paid tributes to Mahatma Gandhi at Raj Ghat on Wednesday on the occasion of 150^th birth anniversary.

   The AICC Chief Sonia Gandhi in her brief address at Raj Ghat said that India and Gandhi are synonymous. Some people want RSS to be synonymous with India, she said. Those who are indulging in politics of falsehood will not understand Mahatma Gandhi. She said that how will those who consider themselves supreme understand the sacrifice of Mahatma Gandhi. Those who indulging in politics of falsehood will not understand Mahatma Gandhi. She administers an oath to Congress workers to adhere to the ideas of the Mahatma.

   The AICC General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi said that it was the order of Gandhiji to pursue the path of truth. The BJP should first pursue the path of truth and then talk about Mahatma Gandhi.

    Congress former Chief Rahul Gandhi led a march of party on the occasion of Gandhiji’s 150^th birth anniversary in the name of Gandhi Sandesh Yatra. The Yatra started from the Delhi Congress office at Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Marg and culminated at Raj Ghat around three kilometers away.
