Chennai: IITians were making brand India stronger globally, said Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He was participated in the 56th convocation of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras on Monday.

     He also said that making India a great nation can happen only through the participation of 130 crore Indians. Innovation and application of Technology will not only fuel India’s aspiration to become a five billion economy, but will also provide the country a big leap to become competitive economy. Modi advised the IITians in his convocation address said that no matter where you are, where you live, do also keep in mind, needs of your mother land and mother India. You also think that how your work, research, innovation will help your mother land, he said. It’s your social responsibility, but also makes immense business sense. P.M Modi also said the graduating students he saw in them both a mini India and the spirit of new India.

   He also said that he saw the dreams of the future in the eyes of the students. There is an energy, vibrancy and positivity in the students.
