
BJP delegation met Governor after returning from Delhi
Hyderabad: Telangana State BJP President K. Laxman along with his party members met Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan on Wednesday and submitted memorandum on the ongoing RTC strike. Earlier on Tuesday the Governor Tamilisai met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP President Amit Shah.
The delegation mentioned in the memorandum that the Government had made no effort to end the RTC strike which is going on for 12 days. The BJP delegation alleged that the RTC staff has not been paid salaries for September. The Government planned to hand over 1, 500 acres land worth Rs. 80, 000 crores to private individuals, they alleged. They said that RTC properties in Warangal, Armoor and Karimnagar had been given on lease to TRS politicians. A large number of BJP leaders staged dharna at Uppal Bus Depot. The BJP delegation includes party MLC N. Ram Chander Rao, Spokesperson N.V. Subbaiah, the party’s TS Mahila Morcha President Akula Vijaya and State Vice-President S. Malla Reddy
