Former CJI Justice SA Bobde Conferred with Honorary Doctor of Laws by RTMNU
Mumbai: Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari conferred the degree of Honorary Doctor of Laws (LLD) to former chief Justice of India, Justice SA Bobde on Friday at the 108th convocation of the Rashtra Sant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU).
Maharashtra Raj Bhavan in a press release said that the honorary degree awarded to Justice SA Bobde was accepted by his son Srinivas Bobde during the virtual event. The Governor presented degrees and diplomas to 77,912 graduating students.
He also presented Gold and Silver medals to the meritorious students and cash prizes also. Governor presented D. Litt degrees two candidates, PhDs to 867 candidates, said in the statement.
