Kadapa: AP Film Development Corporation former Chairman Posani Krishna Murali was remanded for 14 days judicial custody on Friday at 5 am.
Posani Krishna Murali was arrested by the Sambepally police on Wednesday night at 8.30 pm at his residence in Gachibowli, Hyderabad. He was arrested by complaint made by the Jena Sena leader. The police took him by road to Obulavaripalle police station in Annamayya district on Thursday morning.
The SP of Annamayya district interrogated Posani Krishna Murali for nearly nine hours at Obulavaripalle police station. Later in the night police produced him before the Railway Kodur Court Judge.
Former AAG P Sudhakar Reddy argued a lengthy time of nine hours on behalf of Krishna Murali in the Railway Kodur Court. The Judge strike off the sections BNS 111 and IT 67 in the remand report submitted by the police. Later the Judge sent him 14 days judicial remand. The police shifted him Rajampeta sub-jail in the Friday morning. Later he is likely to be transferred to Kadapa Central Jail following the Court’s decision. As a result, Posani Krishna Murali will remain in judicial custody until March 13.
