AHMEDABAD: Australia won the Men’s Cricket World Cup-2023 with seven wickets against India at Narendra Modi Stadium at Gujarat on Sunday.

Australia won the World Cup for the sixth time in the history of Men’s World Cup. Stadium is full with the crowd inside stadium with the 132,000 capacity.

Australia won the toss and chooses to field first in the final match. India in their innings scored 240/10 runs in 50 Overs, with Virat Kohli and KL Rahul scored their half centuries.

Australia scored 241/4 in 43 over to clinch the world cup. Travis Head made century in the final.

Australia won World Cup for six times i.e., in 1987, 1999, 2003, 2007, 2015 and 2023.
