ED summoned BRS MLC Kavitha to attend before ED on 9th March
Hyderabad: ED summons to BRS MLC K Kavitha to attend the ED office on Thursday in New Delhi in connection with the Delhi Liquor case. But, she wrote a letter to the ED she had prior appointments, she will attend before the ED on 11th March.
She left Hyderabad on Wednesday evening to attend a protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi on the issue of Women’s reservation bill. Kavitha was summoned by ED after the Arun Pillai’s interrogation, who revealed he was the binami of Kavitha in the Delhi Liquor scam who is one of the representatives of the South Group which allegedly paid kickbacks of Rs 100 crore to the leaders of the AAP in Delhi.
She said in a statement that as a law-abiding citizen, she will fully cooperate with the investigating agencies.
