Vijayawada: Former Minister Jogi Ramesh arrested on Sunday morning by Vijayawada police at his residence in connection the illicit spurious liquor case.After arrest Jogi Ramesh was shifted to the East excise office in Vijayawada for enquiry.

Police conducted a search in Jogi Ramesh’s residence at Ibrahimpatnam and issued a notice to him and later arrested. The YSRCP leaders and activists gathered in a large number at Jogi Ramesh house and staged protest against the police behaviour.  He filed a plea in AP High Court on Saturday seeking CBI probe in the illicit spurious case for fair investigation, the plea listed in AP High Court on 4^th, November. In the meanwhile the police conducted a search at Jogi Ramesh’s residence on Sunday early morning and arrested him.
