Hyderabad: Kommineni Srinivasa Rao (70), “KSR Live Show”, Journalist was arrested by Tullur police of Andhra Pradesh Government on Monday morning at his residence in Journalist Colony in Hyderabad.

He was well known as Journalist KSR, he was the organizer of “KSR Live Show” a popular live casting program in Sakshi Media at 7.30 am every day on the political and day-to-day topics.

He is conducting this show in Sakshi Media since nine (09) years. The police arrested him, on the comment “Amaravathi is not capital of Goddess but it is a capital of prostitutes” made by one of the panel journalist during program on 6^th June 2025.

At that time K. Srinivasa Rao objected on the words made by the panelist and asked him not to make this type of comments on the show. And also he apologized the women for these untoward comments in this program.

The TDP and its allies, TDP activists and their media made false propaganda on these comments and they blamed that former CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and his wife Bharathi, YSRCP and its leaders. But former CM YS Jagan and YSRCP leaders and Sakshi media openly condemned these comments and found fault with the commentator, its only the commentator’s view not the Sakshi Media view, they clarified.

But the TDP top bosses and its leaders took these comments serious and demonstrated protests and complaint in Tullur police station. On the basis of the complaint Tullur police came to Hyderabad today morning and arrested Kommineni Srinivasa Rao at his residence. The police filed case against KSR under IPC sections 79, 196 (1), 353 (2), 299, 356 (2), 61 (1), bns 67 ITA, 3 (1) SC ST atrocities preventive act.

The Tullur police registered case on Journalist Krishnam Raju as A1, Kommineni Srinivas Rao as A2, Sakshi media as A3.
